Great book, what a cliff hanger! Hope the next book solves that problem. I really like her writing stile .
Not as good as Mackenzie's first Random Violence. But this is still a fast-paced thriller with an addictive heroine in Jade De Jong. The book leaves you wanting more..........what next? I will buy her next book for sure.
I liked he tension and clever interweaving of the plot. I did not like the way the author left the reader with unresolved issues. A good read for lovers of mystery/detective stories.
In my opinion, Jassy Mackenzie is a great writer and spinner of a terrific story. Her first two endeavors were nothing short of superb. The the plot in The Fallen is regrettably too great a stretch to my mind. I found myself groaning in several spots finding the twists to be contrived rather than integral to the plot. I still recommend reading her work and look forward to her next installment, but out of the first three books this is the weakest.
I enjoy Jassy Mackenzie books. The violence is graphic but the writing superb. Well developed characters, intricate plot and a very enjoyable read.
Interesting protagonist, annoying love relationship, overly complicated plot, awful non-ending. If I hadn't already bought the next books, I'd probably stop here.
